This is our Success Mantra for the staff and the students at SVKM’s Institute of Pharmacy, Dhule.
The role of pharmacist is expanding beyond the traditional product-oriented functions of dispensing medicines and health supplies to a more patient-oriented, administrative and public health functions. Parallely to this with the emergence of newer pathological conditions and mysterious causative agents involved in it comes an extended role for a pharmacist to identify and discover new drug molecules.
With this vision, the Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal (SVKM) has extended its wings to establish a state-of-art Pharmacy institute- SVKM’s Institute of Pharmacy in the heart of Dhule city which is also known for its Government Medical College and ever increasing number of Private Hospitals serving all the strata of the society.
The bachelors program at SVKM IOP is recognized by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE), Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) and Maharashtra State Government.
Shri Vile ParleKelavaniMandal’s Institute of Pharmacy, Dhule currently offer a full-time degree course in Pharmacy (B.Pharm.). Through its excellent infrastructure and an arsenal of highly qualified and dedicated teaching and administrative staff, the institute aims to deliver to the society a set of excellent pharma graduates with a blend of professionalism and a sense of social responsibility. At SVKM IOP, we set very high standards for education in order to achieve academic excellence.
Furthermore we also believe in nurturing and inculcating extracurricular talent in students which we achieve through motivating our students to participate in various intercollegiate, university-level, State and national level events and competition.
Manifold options open for students once they have graduated from the institute and inorder to provide the strength to their wings, the placement cell at SVKM provides them ample of opportunities in the field of pharmacy or management through campus interviews from the renowned National and Multinational organizations alongwith the apt guidance for higher ( post-graduate and doctoral) studies.
