WATER CONSERVATION

Measures to create awareness about water conservation

1. Rain water harvesting

  • Rain water harvesting is much needed owing to water crisis in many parts of the world.
  • Students and staff are informed and sensitized about importance of rain water collection.
  • Rain water harvesting system has been included in building plan from day first. Water from terrace is taken down through pipe system and moved for ground water recharging.

2. Water distribution, recycling and maintenance of water bodies

1. There is provision for recycling of waste water. All waste water is collected and sent to sewage treatment plants (STP) for purification. After purification, this water is sent to overhead flush tank. This water is used only for garden, washrooms and waste close.

2. The other overhead tank is for storing water for other uses. This water is also sent to RO system for purification before it goes to cooler and finally becomes drinkable RO water. Waste water from RO system is not used for any of the purpose.

3. In final stage, after treatment waste water is sent to septic tank before releasing to outside nullah
