One day workshop sponsored by Maharashtra State Commission for Women was conducted in Shri Vile Parle Kelvani Mandal’s Institute of Pharmacy Dhule on the topic entitled "Digital Literacy in Women” on 20th November 2019.Ms.Mansi Raikar Director,Mindtricks Educational Institute Nashik was the trainer for the workshop. She had given a hands-on training to the participants about various Government Schemes through Mobile applications like "Aaple Sarkar, NAMO, BHIM, Government e-Marketing (GeM), Tejaswini, UMANG,Vidyalakshmi Portal, LinkedIn,Youtube,Twitter etc.”
SVKM’s Institute of Pharmacy, Dhule celebrated the International Women’s Day on 8thMarch 2019. The theme of the day was "Think Equal, Build Smart, Innovate for Change”. International Women's Day, celebration was aimed at gender equality, a greater awareness of discrimination and a celebration of women's achievements. A Logo competition was conducted based on the theme of women’s day.
One-week workshop was conducted at Shri Vile Parle Kelvani Mandal’s Institute of Pharmacy on topic entitled, "Women’s Self-Defense” from 15th – 21st January, 2020. Mr. Rohit Khairnar Judo coach along with his team instructor namely Mr. Rohit Bhadage, Ms. Mitali Shinde, Ms. Kalyani Ugade had given hands-on training to girls students of B. Pharm. During work-shop they gave demonstration of various sudden attacks and how to defend. Students participated and practiced on various stunts.
On the occasion of International Women’s day on 8th march 2021, Online poster presentation competition and a guest lecture were organized for girl students of SVKM’S IOP Dhule. All the girl participants from SVKM’s IOP enthusiastically participated in an online poster presentation and also attended the guest lecture on the topic "Women’s in leadership: Achieving an Equal Future” by advocate Seema Telange from Yavatmal Session’s Court.
An online session on gender sensitization was conducted by Dr. Smita Patil, assistant professor, School of gender studies, IGNOU, New Delhi on 25th November 2021. She enlightened the session by creating awareness about gender sensitization.
An expert talk on polycystic ovary syndrome was organized on 24th September 2022. Dr. Ashwini Shinde, the resource person of the talk made the girl students aware of polycystic ovary syndrome and their health, lifestyle, and daily diet.
As a part of the celebration of International Women’s Day, 2022, SVKM’s Institute of Pharmacy, Dhule conducted "Women’s Hidden Talent Exhibition- 2022”. The event comprised various talent showcase like paintings, mehendi, 1-min art, music, magic show, singing, dancing, poetry, stand-up shows, rangoli, pottery, cooking, etc
Workshop on women’s self-defense on the Occasion of International Women’s Day was organized by Women’s Forum & NSS Dept. SVKM’s Institute of Pharmacy, Dhule on 12th March 2022. The objective of women's self-defense training was to strengthen women's capacity to defend themselves against potential attacks. Mr. Hemant Kulkarni coach (Taekwondo and Karate) along with his two-team member instructor had given hands-on training to girls’ students of B. Pharm.
